If properly installed, this unit can prevent plugged grain legs. The current sensing relay senses the amp overload on a leg motor and shuts down the fill auger or leg automatically. By adding a timer in this application, it can delay the shutoff of these augers for clean out. It features a “restart” feature which enables operations to resume once the conveyor has acceptable levels.
Can also be used to activate oil dust suppression pumps whenever the leg is full of grain.
